80th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm at East Point Senior Secondary School, Ajmer. The event commenced with the hoisting of the flag by the chief guest, Lieutenant Anurag Chandel.

School Head Boy Dikshant Yadav and Head Girl Parinika Satrawala welcomed the guests by applying Tilak and Garlanding them. The chief guest inspected the NCC Army, Navy, and Scouts contingents and praised all the performances presented during the event. Chief Guest Lieutenant Anurag Chandel stated that students should define their goals and remain dedicated to achieving them. We must make continuous efforts, as that is the only way to attain our objectives. One should always maintain a positive mindset in life. Whenever the opportunity arises to serve the nation, we should contribute our absolute best.

Associate Director Siddharth Singh Chauhan stated that the future lies in the hands of today's youth; the responsibility for this 'New India' rests with the young generation. He urged the students to fulfill their small, daily duties responsibly, noting that only then would they be able to give this New India a new flight. He further emphasized the need to embrace the school's motto—"Keep Your Aim High"—given by its founder, Major R.S. Chauhan.

As part of the cultural event, students presented a vibrant array of performances. Students from the pre-primary section captivated the audience with an enchanting dance to the song "Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawanon Ka," while secondary students enthralled everyone with a seated dance to "Mera Mulk Mera Desh" and a magnificent dance performance set to the song "Tera Himalaya Aakash Choome." Students also presented a patriotic poem titled "Aaj Tiranga Lehrata Hai" and a group song, "Tum Samay Ki Ret Par Chhodte Chalo Nishan," compelling everyone to sway along.

The program concluded with the national song "Sare Jahan Se Achha." At the end of the event, gratitude was expressed to everyone present.
