As a part of ‘Clean India Mission’ to clean and sanitise the entire Ajmer, Nagar Nigam, Ajmer has chosen our ward number 38 as the iconic place to start cleanliness drive as a part of the pilot project under this mission. For ‘Clean Ajmer Mission’ our school has been selected as the first one to begin with this project. For this purpose, a programme for two days was organized on 23rd and 24th January 2019 by Nagar Nigam, Priya Foundation & Department of Information & Broadcasting and Ministry of Government of India. On the first day, ‘A Rally and A Drawing Competition’ was held and on the second day, a seminar was held to bring awareness among the children. Mr. Lalit Kumar Verma, Corporator, Ward 38, Nagar Nigam, Ajmer, AEN Rajesh Sharma, Nagar Nigam, Ajmer and Mr. Bharat Bharagava form the Ministry visited our school and addressed the students. They were made aware of about the proper disposal of wastes by using Green and Blue dustbin and the concept of three R’s (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).
A question-hour session was held in which the students were asked various questions regarding Clean India Mission and were awarded for the same. In the end, Mr. Lalit Kumar Verma inspired the students to take this ‘Cleanliness Mission’ as a campaign and to give at least ten minutes daily to bring awareness among the people regarding cleanliness.
