About the Founder: Major R.S. Chauhan

Major R.S. Chauhan, founder of East Point School, Ajmer, gave the school its inspiring motto: “Keep Your Aim High”.

Major R.S. Chauhan, a visionary and man of principles, laid the foundation of East Point School in 1976, shortly after retiring from the Indian Army as a Major. Starting with just one student, he gave the school its inspiring motto: “Keep Your Aim High”.

Recognizing the lack of quality English medium education in the nearby locality, Major Chauhan established East Point School as the first co-educational English medium school in the area. Initially catering to students up to Class 5, the school expanded to Class 8 to meet the growing demand for education in the region.

Driven by his commitment to impart knowledge with discipline, Major Chauhan took a monumental step in 2001 by relocating the school to a larger campus and founding East Point Sr. Sec. School. The school gained recognition from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) and steadily expanded, offering education up to Class 10 in 2005 and Class 12 in 2008.

Major Chauhan firmly believed that “Discipline is the backbone of all-round success” and dedicated his life to nurturing young minds with the values of discipline, hard work, and excellence. His vision continues to inspire generations of students at East Point Sr. Sec. School.
